I am trying to consolidate about k of credit card debt. Anybody know of any good websites to go through that wont screw me over? And is going non-profit really as good as it seems?

am in serious need of help, but everytime I think I have found something, the company only helps with credit card or mortgage debt. i have student loans and medical expenses that I need help with. Thanks for any advice.

I have between ,000 and ,000 worth of debt on 3 different credit cards. All of the credit card accounts have been sold to law firms. There is no way I can afford to make 3 different payments a month on these. What are my options? Should I go with one of those non-profit organizations to consolidate my debt? I do not own a home or any other property that could be used as collateral. I’m sure my credit is already shot so I’m open for all options.

After the disaster of the economy and have been laid off for a long time, I’m trying to pay off all of my bills. Can anybody recommend a reputable, fair and legit company that I can pay off all of my credit card debt with? Non-profits preferred but not limited to.

To cut the long story short:

i haven’t payed my bills in ages…and they have also stopped calling and one of them still just comes in the mail from the collection agency…they have all gone to collection agencies…some "attorney" has been calling and i don’t pick up…i heard i could go for jail now or be sued…we r in a fixed income and i m not using any credit crds now for more than a yr. what shud i do next??? a non-profit organization not counseling but consolidation is what i need!!! i have about ,000-30,000 of crdit crd debts. i m scared to go to jail…and what happens when one gets sued??? i want to work this out!!!
my credit crd has gone to collections all of them!!! what’s next?????
